The Hydrant Regency, Inc. at Owl Hill is a home - based daycare and boarding facility for dogs, situated on six acres in Rowley,Ma, perched on a secluded scenic hilltop. In operation since 1985, the "home boarding" concept for dogs originated in Amesbury, Ma by Jen Kesner, owner of Canine Consulting. The Hydrant Regency is owned and operated by April and Marc Bernhardt. We are proud to offer you peace-of-mind with a proven track record of safety and security with thousands of family pets.
Equally important to us is our relationship with the owners of our guests. This bond has been the most rewarding experience we could have ever asked for. We get to know each and every owner almost as well as their dogs! The confidence expressed by our repeat customers is our best advertising including those that have been with us since we first started.

A typical day at the Hydrant Regency Inc. includes:

Your dog is treated like one of our own - including hugs and belly rubs. We never charge extra for playtime, feeding special food, or administering medications. We love being out in the yard with the dogs: throwing balls till our arms give out, playing games of chase, tetherball and monkey-in-the-middle. Whether they are soaking in the kiddie pool, lying in the shade or plowing though snow drifts, we are there with them - supervising activities and observing each and every dog to insure their safety and happiness.
